DOUGLASS HANLY MOIR (DHM) Pathology
DHM Pathology is an independent pathology provider and operates separately from our medical practice. Pathology services, including collections, results, accounts, invoices, and billing enquiries, are managed directly by DHM Pathology.
Location: Room 12, at the end of the hallway within our practice.
A DHM Pathology phlebotomist will assist you with your pathology collection and any pathology-related enquiries.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday
9:00 am – 1:00 pm
No appointment is required. Patients can simply walk in during opening hours.
Pathology Forms Accepted
DHM Pathology accepts ALL pathology request forms, including requests from:
- Any GP or specialist
- Any medical provider
- Other pathology providers
If you have received an electronic pathology request form, you may email it to DHM Pathology before attending:
Services Available
DHM Pathology provides collection services for a range of pathology tests, including:
- Blood tests
- Urine tests
- Stool tests
- Saliva and swab collections
- Urea Breath Tests (UBT)
- Oral Glucose Tolerance Tests (OGTT)
Please note that the following services are not available at this location:
- ECG
- 24-hour Holter monitoring
- 24-hour blood pressure monitoring
Results
Pathology results are sent directly to the requesting doctor.
If your pathology request was provided by a doctor outside our medical centre, please contact your referring doctor to discuss your results.
Our medical centre does not receive or manage pathology results requested by external providers.
Fees & Billing
Patients with a valid Medicare card will generally have pathology services bulk billed.
Exceptions may apply. For any billing or payment enquiries, please speak directly with the DHM Pathology phlebotomist or contact DHM Pathology.
